Trust. For a little word, it sure is a big one.
Just a few of the things God demonstrates to us about trust…
-
Trust Makes a Way and Keeps Us In It
Isaiah 26:3 states that:
“(God) will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in (Him).”
Trust that makes a way for a steadfast mind. Trust in God keeps us in God’s perfect peace.
-
Trust is the Choice to Put That Which Is in MY realm into HIS realm.
-
Trust is a Combination
To trust involves making a choice to:
- Surrender “mine” to make it “His.”
- Have faith in Him as my security.
- Be confident in who He is.
A word to ponder and live!

#13 at Jenny’s, and we are neighbors! trUst. Hmm. xo
Isaiah 26:3 is one of the first verses I learned prescriptively. An older friend knew that I was nervous about an audition in high school — she shared that verse, and I took it (literally) right into the audition with me. There are days now when I long to be as focused as my brain was able to be in my teens! There’s nothing like that fervent adolescent faith!
That’s awesome! What an impression it made that you still remember it today : ) Ha! I’m only in my 20s and I already lament that my memory isn’t as strong as it was…thankful the Lord can bring things to mind that I forget anyway!
Great thoughts on trust! Our God is definitely worthy to have our trust and our praise! Blessings to you! I’m glad you linked up with us at #LMMLinkup!
I agree. I love the simplicity and conciseness of our post. So inspirational.
Thanks mary!
